Bellville at a glance

Bellville is a large and diverse area in the Northern Suburbs of the Western Cape.  It has large residential areas as well as large and assorted industrial areas.  The industrial areas in Bellville includes: Stikland, Triangle Park, Sacks Circle, Bellville South and Oakdale.  This area is situated close to the Cape Town International Airport and just over 20km from the city centre of Cape Town. 

The roads surrounding the area are Robert Sobukwe Road to the South and West, Peter Barlow Drive and the R300 to the East and Voortrekker Road to the North.  It is relatively easy to access the N1 from these Bellville Industrial areas.  The companies in these areas include Beekman Canopies, Absolute Logistics, Consol Glass and Sun Couriers.  Bellville is seeing an increase in national and international companies due to the fact that they are enforcing the City Improvement Districts (CID’s) thus the area is seeing a major transformation, which includes cleaning up the area and making it safer.

This area is serviced by a vast amount of public transport services, most noticeably is the large Bellville Station, which allows workers to commute from across the Western Cape by train and using the taxi services for the last leg in their daily commute.  The railway is also circling a large part of the Bellville area, allowing for easy transport from the surrounding residential areas.
